In 2015 Morden Park returned as a venue for the London Summer Cyclo-Cross Series seeing a horde more riders taking part than in 1979. Therefore it might not be as lost as some.

In 2015 we saw great racing held in sunshine, but back in 1979 as Glyn Durrant says of that day: ” I remember the day well, very cold to start with a heavy frost which turned into a slimy mud. I punctured in the closing laps and DNF. Morden Park houses a college which one of my club mates was a teacher at. The course went up the steps in front of it.”
